I'm enough of an unabashed nerd that I don't mind having Lego sets on full display in my home, but I admit that some make a better &quot;general&quot; impression than others - and the Architecture sets are near the top of that list, with the Taj being no exception. Despite the moderate footprint and having a relatively straightforward geometry when you really consider it, there was still room for some fun and interesting moments in the build. I admit that placing all of the little 1x1 base tiles was a mite tedious, but the detail in the windows, the minarets, and the towers was engaging. My favorite types are the Architectural Sets that are based on real places. I also built the Singapore set and the Pyramid of Giza.
