<span itemprop="description">This set is a lot of fun. It's easy to share with others and it's very easy to get ideas for building by just looking up images. It's very relaxing since there are no complex instructions, the experience is quite similar to cross-stitch embroidery.
I only really have a couple of problems with it, so in case this set ever gets revised:
First, The amount of tiles is very unbalanced, which restrains what you can viably build. There is only 58 pink tiles but 660 dark blue ones... it's apparent that the quantity of each tile in the set was driven by the builds designed for the instructions. In my opinion, for a set like this, it should be the other way round. Builds for the instructions should be made from a predetermined and more balanced pool of bricks.
Obviously, some colors are more needed than others so some imbalance is fine but I would have liked to see at least 200 tiles for each color, 256 preferably which is how much it would take to fill out a 16x16 plate.
Second is a lack of excess frame pieces, let me explain. The set comes with nine 16x16 plates, which means that you can make one big 48x48 image/collage.
BUT you could also make two medium 32x32 images with one small 16x16, you could make a 32x48 with a 16x48 or three long 16x48 images. Or some crazy Tetris shape if you're into that.
It would have been nice if the set came with enough frame pieces to let you make at least two frames, preferably three.
Also, one shade of grey, any grey really, would have been nice. I'm not gonna ask for multiple shades of grey, that's just asking for trouble.
I realize that my suggestions would have probably raised the price of the set to some degree since I'm effectively asking for more pieces, but I feel like it would be very worth it.</span>
