The kinetic sand is made with natural sand of 3 different colours, and was really easy to mould and shape into many different creations.
The kit comes with some tools to help you mould the sand which was really handy. My son really enjoyed playing with this kit, and I love the fact it can be used over and over again with minimal mess.</span>

As such, we've never really invested in any of these little gadgets before so this is our first outing in the fancier side of sand play!
I have to say this gadget is nifty, but only if you're an adult who can read the tiny print on the leaflet instructions. My five year old has great fun shoving sand into the tubes but it could really do with some clearer instructions. Also worth noting is that although sand comes with the toy, it's barely enough to make one of the examples shown on the front. We had to top up with our own supply. Eventually we managed to make a roll like the ones on the box. The kids sliced them to pieces and they never picked it up again!</span>
