Gameplay is fun and exciting for both kids and adults. However, there is quite a bit of setup involved for each round of play, which can be frustrating. The pandas add a fun element, as well as the two different ways to play the game. I like the dice aspect where it makes you choose a certain type of stick to pull- it seemed to level the playing field for younger players and added a fun element at the end where your turn might get skipped and you get lucky. It&rsquo;s like an upgraded version of the original kerplunk game. Instead of marbles you have these cute little pandas. Also different, instead of just pulling one stick at a time you roll the dice and have to pull the number of sticks you get. Either only 1, 2 or 3 sticks which makes it more difficult. Even though the player with the least amount of pandas at the end wins, my son loves to see them all fall down. We have the Kerplunk Pandas Deluxe Edition. This has been such a big hit in our house! My son absolutely loves this game. It is his first &quot;board game&quot; style game. We have played this multiple times a day, every day since we got it. The game is super easy to assemble, but I found that the Set Up instructions are not in the correct order. They should tell you to cut the plastic parts off frames BEFORE telling you to add them through the holes. Other than that, we absolutely love this game. We've only played using the Plain Bamboo side since it's simpler for our son, but the Panda Rules side looks to make the game even more interesting. I'm so glad we got it! It's reminiscent of the classic game, but in this version there are little pandas and sticks of bamboo. My kids loved the little pandas right away because they're so cute! To play, you roll the die which will tell you which bamboo stick you're supposed to remove. There's also an additional section where the pandas land that has further instructions on what to do with them. It doesn't take long to play either, so if time is limited for a quick family game time, it's not a problem. I really like it more than the marble kerplunk and theres 2 different ways to play. One side of platform is normal kerplunk version and other has different things on platform so depending where the panda lands determines what you do with it. We like to play the side that has you passing pandas, taking them out if the game or dropping them back into play. We thought this Kerplunk Pandas Deluxe would fit the bill. This cute game comes with pagoda, cute little pandas, green &quot;bamboo&quot;sticks with leaves on them and one dice. You roll the dice and try to pull out a stick without dropping the pandas. Person with the fewest pandas wins. It took us a couple of times to get the hang of things, but once we all got it figured out we had a ball.
