Some pieces are super small, but they do come in plastic bags. The meaningful&nbsp;pieces are very realistic. For example: front nose, eat handle bars and exhaust. I would say this is more for ages 12 and up and not 9 like the box says. It takes several hours to complete and many times needing to take apart and restart because the instructions are not clear. It is color coded but its hard to tell exactly how or where the pieces go together. The kickstand is touchy and takes some work to get the bike supported. He took the box and started his &ldquo;best project ever&rdquo; right away. He was so happy while building it and over the moon after he finished. It is a fantastic way to stimulate children creativity, and It is easy to put together and every single part is made of great quality materials. It's very cool looking but my son had quite a difficult time putting this together. Me being around 30 had difficulty putting this together. First off the instructions could be colored better. I feel like the images were not colorful enough so some of the pieces we ending up getting mixed up. Also the instruction only had zoomed in images of where the pieces go and they weren't helpful at times. It's a great thing to bond over but in the end we didn't even finish out because the last few big pieces were so hard to put together we were afraid of breaking them and in fact when we went to snap one piece in we ended up breaking apart another. One activity he does enjoy and sticks with is building things. When I learned that K'nex had a Mega Motorcycle building kit I just had to get one for him. He loves to build and put things together and he loves motorcycles so it was a great choice. What I love the most about K'nex brand and their products is its not just toys but it helps with stem learning. This particular building set kept my son focused, interested and excited about what he was making and what the end product was going to look like. This set comes with a lot of pieces (456), we found it easier to seperate and make piles of each kind of piece to find them better when he was building the motorcycle. My son likes the click of the pieces when putting together. This motorcycle set is pretty neat and has a working suspension and can be proudly displayed when finished.
