It moves and makes noise (always a bonus) and he is able to use it when playing with other dinosaurs he has. He claims its his most favorite dino (due to being able to take it places easily and the fact that it makes noise). It chomps and roars! As far as noisy toys go his roar isn&rsquo;t too terribly loud. It&rsquo;s loud enough for my kids to think it&rsquo;s awesome but not so loud that it drives parents crazy! It has a button that makes it roar, while opening its mouth. There&rsquo;s a feature for it to be able to connect to an app on your phone, but we haven&rsquo;t had a chance to do that just yet. He loves the way he can make the baryoynx move and interact with his other toys and gets lost in his dinos for hours. My kids keep trying to imitate it. When this arrived, my kids couldn't wait to get it out of the package, and we had to have a sharing talk, ha. A week later, it's still getting played with a ton (and winning all of the dinosaur battles, my kids tell me). I think the baryonyx is fun. The roar is the best, but it's cool how the jaw snaps open, the &quot;skin&quot; feels exactly how you would imagine it, and the artwork just makes it look realistic. The button for the roar is right where our kids hands are holding the dinosaur, so it's easy to play with. I think we own every one of these dinosaurs now because my kids love them, they've been great toys that have held up and been through many battles, and, as a tired parent, I just really appreciate that the growls are not too loud. We did receive this as a promotional product, and the review is my own. Came in very nice packaging and the only assembly was that the tail needed to be pushed on. Arms and legs move as well as the mouth with a very cool roar.
