As it turns out they really aren't a good match at all, Blue has "cutesy" proportions to help her look like a baby, but not so much as look actively cartoonish, which Indominus here most certainly does. Feeding Frenzy Indominus makes a much better companion to the miniature "Snap Squad" Jurassic World toys. While I was disappointed to see just the extent this one is cartoony, it's still a decent toy in its own way. The snapping feature is lacklustre compared to Mattel's previous "Prehistoric Pets" line which used the same feature in some toys, but is still accompanied with enough sound gimmicks to keep young children occupied. While the included food accessory adds an extra little snack of immersion for older kids or collectors who happen to be taken in by its cutesy charms.
Date published: 2020-09-19

Rated 5 out of 5 by lucasliu3 from awesome i bought this for myself and it looked great on my shelf
Date published: 2020-09-06

Rated 3 out of 5 by kgriswold from super cut [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids loved being able to feed the dinosaur and seeing his mouth open for the meat. I like that they added the rib piece for you to initiate the jaw closing action. You don't need that for the dinosaur to work, but it is nice to have instead of having to find something to put into its mouth. I think this was built well. You can tell it's not a cheaply built toy. It will withstand a few years of play. My son hasn't picked this up to play a lot, but I think that is because we have hit that "magical age" where most toys don't get played with anymore. He said that he enjoys it. I think the size of the dinosaur pairs well with other toys. It can be used as a big dinosaur for Hot Wheels, Legos, Play Mobils, etc. And can be used as a smaller dinosaur/pet with larger toys.
Date published: 2020-07-29

Rated 3 out of 5 by Frog111282 from Doesnt do much [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 3 girls at home, ages 8, 7 and 5. I thought the 7 and 5 year old would be really intrested in this toy as they love dinos and are more tomboyish. They were all excited when they saw it, but then quickly lost interest when they realized it all it did was make a little noise and pretent to chop down. It seems to make the same nose over and over. It is a cute toy and very durable and well made, but i guess not for my girls.
