Keeps sun and rays off baby. Perfect for settling newborn while out and about when it&rsquo;s a bit sensory overload having the car seat uncovered. I also was able to stretch this one over the toddler seat/bassinet option on my stroller too rather than having to buy the separate one just for the toddler seat. Not enough to keep bugs out on the the toddler seat but will do for the car seat this summer.
