The instructions are simple enough. We inserted the marker into the trigger and we heard clicking but nothing came out. We tried and tried. We put it away for a bit and then tried again. Nothing. But needs improvement.</span> <span itemprop="description">This was an alright little kit. However, there are a few things that could definitely use some improvement. First off, it takes two C batteries, and those are difficult to find in small towns/rural areas. Secondly, the stencils that come with it rip easily and do not stick the greatest to skin, and tend to let ink bleed in behind the stencil, making for a blurry/blotchy result. Plus the actual stencils werent that great. Yes there was a variety of different stencils, but they could have been more geared towards todays children. My daughter wasnt interested in many of them, and we resorted to making our own. And the last thing that i wasnt happy about was the purple. It doesnt seem to be that pigmented, or its just a really light purple that takes more than one coat to really be noticeable. The idea of this kit is a great concept. I love how easy it is to switch colors, and it doesnt take much to get the hang of it. The handheld part is a bit big for my daughters hand (shes 6), but shes only getting bigger, so its not a big deal. We have had lots of fun using this kit together! I used to draw tattoos on her with washable markers regularly, because shes always wanting to be &quot;just like mom&quot;. So when i saw this, i knew it would be something she would absolutely love!
