A toxic gorilla is threatening to slam the Hot Wheels City gas station and tire repair shop with a massive hauler, and kids with only super-awesome stunting skills can stop him! The giant nemesis playset includes an adjustable launcher that sets up three stunting options to defeat the evil beast, who shows his anger with multicolored lights and various sounds. There's plenty of push-around play to explore -- one 1:64 scale Hot Wheels vehicle is included -- and the Hot Wheels Toxic Gorilla Slam also connects to other Hot Wheels sets through multiple connection points on the base for even more fun. Colors and decorations may vary.
The Hot Wheels Toxic Gorilla Slam playset challenges kids to defeat an evil nemesis through stunting action and awesome push-around play! There are 3 different ways to conquer the toxic gorilla using the adjustable launcher, but if kids miss the target, they'll just anger the beast, and he'll growl and glow menacingly! Varying lights and sounds indicate how annoyed the gorilla is. If your car gets eaten, he'll burp, but when he's defeated, watch him collapse and turn blue. The playset is loaded with lots of fun push-around play features like moveable gas hoses and a tire-shop mechanism. Track diverters invite open-ended play and exploration. The set also connects to other Hot Wheels track sets (sold separately) through multiple points on the base for endless play opportunities.

We have had it set up in our play room for about two weeks now and it has been played with daily. Assembly was fairly easy however the directions were not the most clear (the black tabs on the tire part of the set go on the outside!) and once it’s put together, it does not come back apart, which is great for younger kids who get frustrated with the tracks coming apart and with lining up the angles just right for jumps. We had no issue with it but this toy does make crude noises such as burping and chewing, so just be aware if you are not someone who wants to hear that. The sound does turn off but the sound was a favorite feature of my kids.</span>

This set can be standalone since it has a built in launcher, but it is most fun when connected to other sets and tracks. Compatibility with other sets is perfect, as expected from Hot Wheels. The three different launch directions (zones) ensures excitement every time.
Remember that there is just one car included, so be sure to get a few more if you don't have any at home.</span>
