This is the type of toy parents hate (tiny pieces) but children absolutely love! This was popular with both our 6 and 8 year old daughters. They love all the tiny little pieces, the surprise eggs, the dolls. I have 3 girls ages 7, 5, and 2. They all ran to the box to see what had arrived. They waited anxiously as I took it out of the package. The toy was very easy to assemble, as it came mostly put together. My 7 year old really loved the reveal egg that she got to break and immediately asked me to buy her more. My 5 year old really loved all the little pieces that came with the set. She like setting up the table and chairs and the little food pieces. My 2 year old really loved the doll and the character. Over all, they all really enjoyed playing with this toy and have continued to play with it since we received it. This is something that I would buy for my children or as a gift for another child. We received this toy in exchange for an honest review, but I definitely would have purchased it for my child. I really love that this HATCHIMALS COLLEGGTIBLES COSMIC CANDY SHOP 2-IN-1 PLAYSET WITH EXCLUSIVE PIXIE AND HATCHIMAL has such cute design that my kids love. It is really interactive and lets them play but also has different themes with the same playset. I Really like that it something fun for all ages and was really easy to set up. I felt like the overall design works great and is well made so will hold up over time. This is one of the best toys we have gotten this year! It is actually two play sets and just easily flips over from a bakery to a cafe, one of the booths spin around into a couch and the stairs when flipped turn into a slide and more. The play set also comes with an exclusive pixie doll and a exclusive hatachimal lamaloon, the lamaloon is a pretty magenta semi translucent , glittery molded plastic, with silver wings and Gwen is about two inches tall with squishy pink gel Like hair, thats glittery and she&rsquo;s wearing a fashionable multicolored glitter dress and comes with a hair piece and purse, she also has wings. The hatchimal pet is concealed in an egg and your child gets to hatch it themselves, which is great, kids love blind bag/eggs. In total the set comes with 14 accessories, including some plastic sweet treats, umbrella, table and chairs, doll stand, stickers to decorate your toy and so much more! I think the toy has a long play life and broad age appeal, ages 5 and up of course, due to the small pieces.
