The box and layout of the charms make it seem &ldquo;fancy&rdquo; which is a bonus. Unfortunately (for me), she needs help from an adult to make these bracelets. I&rsquo;m at a point in this pandemic life where I want her to do stuff on her own. Overall the craft is well made and comes with high quality pieces and materials. The charms especially are heavy duty and are high quality. My only concern is that it is too difficult for both kids too do on their own. The braiding directions were a bit confusing for me as well (full disclosure-I&rsquo;m not very good at braiding anything). That being said-the kids love the bracelets. I was impressed by everything that came with the kit. It makes really great bracelets that will last. They love all the different designs. I would say that my girls are a little young for it. I ended up making most of the bracelets for them, which is fine but if you are getting this for someone I would suggest 11 or older. I had to use pliers but I really think they will last. Keep in mind, one of my 7 year olds and my 10 year old are a little developmentally delayed. None of my kids could put the bracelets together themselves, and I had trouble doing it myself to be honest. The jump rings are super small and hard to open. Make sure you have jewelry pliers before you get started, you will definitely need them. Our kit was also missing some of the beads that were needed for the bracelets.
