This was definitely a go to toy for us back in the day. I do however like the updates made to it. The circular dial makes drawing even easier. The kids enjoy making shapes, and doodles. I enjoy that they're kept busy. Etch a Sketch is a classic game that my entire family has played with since we were young. This new Etch a Sketch Revolution is a great twist on the classic game. I love that there is now an option to draw perfect circles and create even better and unique designs on the sketch pad. This is something my young girls love to play with and even my husband and I have used it many times already. This will be something we will pass down to our other kids and hopefully they will pass it down as well. It seems sturdy and is the perfect size for a travel game too. I remember having an etch-a-sketch as a kid and me and my siblings would spend hours playing with it, we would write our names and draw silly pictures with it, we even had competitions with our cousins! Although they were a lot more square and has a bigger screen,, I gave the etch a sketch to the kids and they seem to like it, they all fought to play with it at first but they got bored of it pretty fast, this generation is all about fast paced video games. My youngest is enjoying it, he is the most artistic of them all but to be completely honest the adults are having a blast with it! My siblings and I are so much more into it! I would definitely recommend this as a gift for an artistic child or to nostalgic adults! Fun, quiet, and easy to use! Etch a Sketch Revolution is a fresh, fun take on an old favorite! It's smaller, perfect for the littlest hands. Not only does it have the original features of straight lines, but with the circle mechanism in the middle, you can now make circles or rotations, as well. My kids loved it! While this toy is fun, it does have some downsides, for example it is slightly difficult to clear the magnetized screen just by shaking it, which made it difficult for my kids to clear it. Also, I noticed that even when the screen was cleared, you could see the faint lines of the designs still visible. At first, I thought these were scratches, but the more my kids played with it, the more designs stayed on the screen.
