It has a detachable trailer, but I think it is too easily detached. The trailer came off right after being attached for the very first time(the toy comes with it detached). It is not made of soft plastic so that is a plus. My son has a blast playing in the sand. The durability is not the best though. The wheels are wobbly. I fear they will not last as long as I had hoped. He put all his farm animals in it immediately and keeps it safe on his shelf when he's not playing with it. It lights up and makes tractor noises and that just adds to the toy because we would love it even without those additions. It has a trailer that he puts small toys in and then pushes the tractor around the house. Pushes easily and is sturdy. The green color is realistic for a tractor. He has always been fascinated with any and all farm vehicles, and this one he really likes!! The button on the hood of the tractor makes the engine rev and turns on the headlights. It is really well made, and will give any child hours of fun!!
