It keeps my infant son occupied for hours. It also small and convenient enough to pack on a diaper bag. It keeps provided him hours of fun. His face just lit up when he saw this adorable puzzle and he became even more animated when he discovered that Blue's voice could be summoned at the push of a button! As fast as they put it together they pulled it apart. The pieces are just the right size and easy to pick up. It has a stand but the pieces don&rsquo;t stay in when the puzzle is upright. Talking Build-a-Blue 9-Piece 3D Puzzle awhile ago. This puzzle comes with the puzzle base and 9 puzzle pieces. The puzzle is for ages 3+ according to package. Each puzzle piece is plastic. The puzzle is painted very well and each piece is brightly colored. Each puzzle piece has a open back besides the shovel and bucket. They are joined together with a screw. The puzzle pieces are very easy to place into there correct spots. There also is two spots on puzzle base that have an small indentation to pull a couple puzzle pieces up easier. There is a hidden snail underneath the barn. The snail is on the puzzle base and is not removable. On the front bottom there is a yellow button that when pressed makes sound. There are 8 different phrases. The volume is not loud at all. The sound comes from the back of the puzzle base. I felt the sound to be a bit to quiet. The back of the puzzle base there is a piece that will make the puzzle base stand up. The stand is on a slight angle and pieces do not fall out. They all try and play with it. The pieces are a bit wonky though and the back kickstand broke off almost immediately. The puzzle comes in a picture frame with 9 plastic pieces. The scene is a barn with characters Blue,mailbox,shovel, and pail. The first issue I had is it comes with a stand that connects in a slot on the back to prop the picture frame up. The stand wouldn&rsquo;t stay in this slot and would fall over no matter what I did. The pieces of the puzzle do not fit correctly in the frame, there&rsquo;s space showing. The only time this puzzle talks is when you touch a button. It says several different phases. I assumed it would talk as you placed a puzzle piece in place. It claims the age range is for ages 3 and above. I&rsquo;m an adult and I had problems with this puzzle! It&rsquo;s very hard. I love Blue&rsquo;s Clues! Our daughter loves to play with puzzles so this 3d puzzle was a nice change of pace. She has had a lot of fun playing with it and really enjoys it.
