Like the other reviews 500 of the 1000 pieces are thr tiny little singles that you have to build into larger parts. Not enjoyable to build at all. There is no way a 7 year old or a 12 year old for that matter is building this set. My fingers are killing me. 5 hours to build and falls apart in mins. They advertise this as an eleven hundred piece set for half price but there&rsquo;s a reason, 49%of it is two parts that you spend a disproportionate amount of time putting together to make a single piece. Because of this the structure is weak and the parts come apart easily. It took myself and another adult about 10 hours to build this, and by the time we were done we were ready to just toss it. Do your kids and yourself a favor and buy a different set.
