As always, Barbie provided great quality but the detail on the doll was amazing for a play doll (non-collectable). I loved the freckles and hair braids, and they held up with my child's enthusiastic playing. The clothes and accessories were easy to take off and on without my assistance. This is a beautiful doll. I am glad to see Mattel diversifying their products, and knocking it out of the park! She has adorable freckles across her face. She seems to have a more athletic, realistic body. One drawback is the hair style. I love the texture of the hair and the little braids. The topknot she has is adorable, but lasted all of 5 minutes. The braids in the knot kids of got a bit messed up when it was pulled out.
