This starter pack comes with 3 Bakugan figures, 6 cards, 6 hide matrix tiles as well as a game rule sheet that tells you exactly what everything is as well as how to play the game. It is a two-player game where you battle Bakugan against one another. As a Mother, I feel it's a cute game that you each roll your selected character and they open up which is how they battle as well as the information on the hide matrix and cards. The pieces are very well made and are a solid piece without any little pieces that can come off that I need to worry about. My kids love rolling them and allowing them to pop out into their form. I received this free trial and my boys have not stopped playing with it since. Unfortunately, I have 2 boys so now I'm obligated to buy a second starter pack so they both have their own. They've spent hours folding and unfolding the toys and playing with the cards. My 7 year old understands everything fairly well. My 11 year old took to the whole idea like a fish to water. They're huge fans of pokemon and the like so this was a super fun take on it that they've both quickly come to love. My children loved this starter pack. I love how easy it was to collapse together to make a sphere.
