My son had so much fun opening up the huge box and engaging with each component of the toy. He was so excited he even read the instructions on how to play which is a bonus when you add literacy fun. Overall the game was awesome. I did however notice that the bakugan are very fragile as we did end up dropping one on our tiles and it ended up breaking. But that being said they are so much fun to watch and play with as they roll around and pop out. The game is sturdy, easy to play and engaging! The only downside is that it only contains one character so we will have buy more so both kids can play, but since we #GotItFree and they are enjoying it so much its well worth the investment. I had zero clue what was going on but the kids loved it, and I loved that instead of being strewn all over the floor their game was contained to this relatively small surface.
