He did t like it at first but after a few seconds he relaxed and was able to get an accurate temperature and quickly. This thermometer has a notch on it so you can tell how far it needs to be stuck in I order to get an accurate temperature. That way it's easier to make sure it's not inserted too far. It's been the easier thermometer I've used on my little one.
