Are the sheets just for the mattress in the playpen? Or do they go around the outside edges of the playpen as well?

They are just for the mattress inside the playpen. I bought a thicker mattress (about 3 inches thick) &nbsp;for the playpen and the sheet fits around it. &nbsp;
