<span itemprop="description">Don’t buy this gate it doesn’t work very well at all. It does not retract to become tight and easily opens even when “locked”. If you have a toddler they can just fall into it and it will pop open. Very disappointed.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The gate was easy to install and is good quality. However, I do not have it in a high traffic area, but it does the job at keeping our little one away from the bottom of the stairs. I could see how the mesh would end up sagging after a while if it was leaned on a lot. I would recommend this for a low traffic area only.</span>

Il faut toujours s'assurer que la barre soit bien droite dans la fente et toujours revérifier la solidité. Même en étant très à l'affût, mon enfant s'est aggripé à toile pour se lever et la barrière à cèdé!!! Heureusement aucune fracture mais un tour à l'urgence en ambulance. Hyper dangereux!</span>

<span itemprop="description">The first one we bought wouldn’t retract. It was replaced and this one after a week wont retracting the whole way, so there is always a foot or so sticking out. It also appears when it retracts the mesh gets folded inside leaving it unappealing when in lock position. I would not recommend this product.</span>

Are you meaning metal pillars or wood? Both ends of this gate need to be solidly anchored; you will need to drill holes in your pillars to secure both parts of this gate.
