Powerful and roomie enough for the two of them to ride at age 5. We have taken it on a couple of long walks worried that the battery may run out but it has never let us down. I bought this for my grandson 4 th birthday but after putting item together I have my doubts, I know think my grandson may be to tall for this. With the seat full back it obstructs the dump bed from engaging, so because he will have to have seat fully pushed back he won&rsquo;t be able to use dump bed. Also the seat belt mechanism is too short and the kids cannot get the belt clipped in. The box was damaged but fortunately no damage was caused to the gator. Most of the assembly was straight forward but there were some difficult areas. First the instructions, although ok, were not exact with some items already preassembled. Attaching the dumpbed was a bit difficult. You must attach the guide to the second hole back, not the front one to make the dump bed work properly. Also, the decals were a bit challenging to place. Just have lots of patience. All in all, this is a great toy for small kids to have. We have 4 boys (only 3 can actually use these at the moment). Our 7 1/2yr old is far too big for this, our 5 1/2 yr old still fits well and our 2 1/2 yr old is perfect for this. The description states this is good for 3-8yr olds, the only reason I am giving this a 4 and not a 5 is that anyone over say 6yrs old will most likely be too big. Also the tail gate on this does not stay closed as when they ride it the gate pops open all the time. Other then that is is wonderful. My 2 younger boys both fit on it perfect.
