Worth the money spentMy son is in love with trains and absolutely loves this train set! It's a great product and allows our son to play with himself while I can get stuff done. And it's also great to share with his friends-it keeps the kids busy for a while and allows the kids to learn to share with some of the pieces and certain parts of the track. Also it's nice that not only is it a train set but the helicopter pad and crane are a great add on! The only thing I can say I dislike about this product is that the pieces don't fit well together in some areas of the set and the directions on putting it together weren't all that easy to follow. Aside from that we are very happy with our purchase!

Some disappointmentMuch of the track is raised and falls apart often which can be expected. We used command strips to get the track down better and it seems to be working well. My biggest issue is the poor quality of the trains and other pieces that come with it. One train body has come apart from the wheels and the lights have come off the light posts. The helicopter has also come off the base and the propellers have fallen off. I don't know what glue was used to put the pieces together but it does not work well. My son is not unnecessarily rough of things. Super glue should fix the pieces but I feel that after two weeks of use a new toy should not be falling apart.

Difficult To Put TogetherFound it difficult to put tracks together - mainly locating correct pieces to complete track layout. Track pieces should have been marked clearly with the appropriate Letter. You have to keep referring to the instructional paper for the Letter of every piece added. Letters could have been stamped on the track pieces themselves. There definitely could have been a better way! Also a suggestion - a variety of track layouts could have been recommended in order to have it simpler for younger children to navigate. Otherwise it's very attractive, the young Grandson is obsessed with it, but we're still trying to get it all set up!!!!!

Not sure it's fully worth the priceMy son love the Thomas train table on display. They had this one setting off to the side and it was a more affordable option for me. My husband stayed up putting it together that night. The instructions were very detailed which was great. However the pieces do not like to stay together with normal play, especially the underground subway station. One side of those plastic tracks is always unhooked. When the trains come down the hills and around the turns they always fall off. If it wouldn't be too much hassle I would have probably taken it apart and exchanged it for the a Thomas train table.

Not bad...It's a nice detailed track, but I find the wooden pieces are almost impossible to stay together!! The ones that are flat stay but the inclines are brutal. And it's so finicky that my little guy isn't quite able to put it together without pulling half of it down (as it has to balance on the wooden posts). Maybe good for an older child closer to 4... but I feel as though all my hair may be pulled out before we get to that age!! Tempted to glue! Also, we only had the set a couple of months and the trains/vehicles began to fall apart, I'm assuming from the cheap glue they must have used.

Keeps An Active Child Focused For HoursI didn't think I would ever find a toy that would keep my 3-year-old granddaughter entertained and focused for any length of time but she has been playing with this train table for ten days now and the novelty hasn't worn off. She will spend hours just playing by herself with the trains. Unfortunately, the train table was a gift for her 2-year-old sister but hopefully they will learn to share. You will need some space for the table but it was easy and fast to assemble. So far, it is the perfect toy.

Table is great but pieces don't stay togetherThe table is very easy to assemble and looks great, but the track pieces don't assemble well and fall apart with a simple nudge especially the elevated tracks. Those have no stability at all. The plastic metro track that goes below also doesn't line up and if you get one side in place, the other side shifts out of its socket. We ended up removing all those pieces so our toddler could play without hurting herself. The elevated pieces are way too unstable. The crane also falls over all the time.

Toddler approvedWe bought this train table for my son's 3rd birthday. He absolutely adores it. He almost never went in his play room during the day, prior to buying this table. Now I can't get him out of there! I can hear him rolling the trains across the track as soon as he rolls out of bed, now. I love just about everything about this train table. It's still pretty new, but we haven't had an issues so far. The tracks are pretty sturdy, as of right now, and every thing seems to fit together really well. It provides my toddler with hours of entertainment. We love it!
