Love the newest model from EvenfloI got this seat from Evenflo to review but all opinions are my own. I am a big fan of Evenflo and currently all four of my kids are sitting in a seat. This seat is fantastic in terms of safety and ease of use. The little things like the harnesses being easy to adjust without rethreading make it a dream to owm. This is a large seat and you although we can fit 3 of them in our SUV in the middle row it is wise to measure if you have a compact vehicle. That being said I feel confident that my son is riding safe and have thrown out his old (more expensive) competitors seat.

So safe I can't stand to use it.We purchased this product when our second child grew out of the infant bucket seat. We chose it because of the roll over testing. Generally the seat seems very secure and comfortable for our child. Install was quite easy although having to use so many towels in our seat (relative to our three previous car seats) was a bit annoying, in the end it ended up sitting very securely. I hate using this car seat on the day to day. Firstly, it is not good for my midsize car as I have to carefully raise and lower my daughter under the door of my car and over the head supports. This is less noticeable when our baby was small but now that they are 25+ pounds and not walking but can protest with vigor, the awkward 'loading' becomes considerable. Once we get our child in the seat, buckling the main buckle is easy but the 'easy adjust' shoulder strap feature makes properly positioning the chest buckle incredibly frustrating. The shoulder straps loosen 'downward' toward the hips and not 'upward' toward the shoulder, as such every time I buckle my child in the chest buckle slides down to belly button level. This means I have to spend a minute inching the chest buckle up so that the slack is below the chest strap and tighten the belt. In the end I spend several minutes incrementally tightening the straps and readjusting the chest buckle higher so I can tighten the straps further and then finally adjust the chest buckle to its proper position by the armpits. The straps are also run through a very tight slot in the buckle so it snags often instead of sliding easily for adjustment. When juggling multiple children who are not always patient and enjoying themselves, the time spent fussing over the buckle gets extremely annoying. Especially if you need to get the child in and out of the car repeatedly for errands. Once my child is bucked in properly it is very secure and comfortable, but getting the buckling done is a nightmare
