LEGO SUPER HEROES Batman: Scarecrow Harvest of Fear 76054 is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth the wait. I saw pictures for this set online months before it went on sale and from the minute I saw it I knew it was going to be a great set, which it was. I was over-joyed with the minifigs, especially scarecrow, and loved the vehicles. I was extremely happy when I found that Lego was making a new scarecrow minifig, as I've been wanting him for quite some time, as well as the first killer moth minifig, the first blue beetle minifig and a new special batman, not to forget the farmer minifig which was a nice touch. The vehicles were amazing. The best (in my opinion) being the combine harvester, the first ever evil farm vehicle. I liked the batcopter and really liked the detail of the tractor. All in all I thought this set was really worth the money and I would strongly recommend this set to all lovers of the dc comics superheroes range.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This set is great! It's a great set but it has a few flaws, which aren't that deal breaking. I'm not sure if this is just on my set or not but I felt like the propellers on the helicopter were very wobble. And would fall of easily. Except that I'm very happy with everything else about this set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vehicles FTW I generally dread when my kids want a set that has a helicopter. Helicopters are one of my favorites to play with, but one that the kids tend to destroy rather quickly. This helicopter however is holding up very well. 1. The main prop is built very sturdy. Dear LEGO builders. Do it like this EVERY time! :-) It is holding up really well and I like the pieces used to construct it. Lining up the supporting top and bottom may be a little challenging for young builders, but a very minor challenge. 2. Scarecrow's combine is SPECTACULAR. That thing was a blast to build and has been fun for everyone to play with. The new tread design (It's new to me at least) is a little tedious but well worthwhile. The mechanics of the vehicle are also excellent. 3. The tractor is just really really cool. My son built this vehicle and we've all enjoyed the tractor quite a bit. The construction has held up really well. Negatives The mechanism for deploying the weaponry is also really cool. It hangs up a little when pulling the tail back out, but nothing the kids haven't been able to handle. It would be stellar if the weapons retracted with it. I'm convinced that the farmer was included because they have had that tractor in the wings waiting for the right set to include it in. I see no other reason to have included it. Regardless of the reasoning, I really like the tractor. Yea. The kids do as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very detailed and excellent set I love the Scarecrow, and it has a different Batman figure, with two big and detailed vehicles, so it was looking really worth the price. And I wasn't disappointed. Can't wait to get my hands on the Croc set of the same storyline. Batman: We get a different Batman with a Hazmat Batman suit, to combat the fear gas of Scarecrow. The gas mask is a nice touch, I also like the more dark & black appearance of Batsy in this one. The green Batlogo also adds a little extra, making this figure stand out even more from the other Batman sets. The Batcopter is also awesome, very detailed & large. I like the fact that the rear part can be adjusted, and the weapons hatch can be opened wider. If you want to collect all possible Batvehicles in Lego, then you can't get any better than this. Scarecrow: The figure has the more classic, TAS feeling to it, which is really nice. It is detailed enough, yet still not too comic. I'd say it is a perfect blend of the original art style and Lego appearance. The pitchfork is funny though :) As for the Harvester. Oh my god, it is absolutely awesome! I'd love building it, and as it comes together, amazing! The fear gas container is adjustable, and can be opened if you want to. Only problem is that reversing is a bit sluggish, as the clog wheel can only turn in one direction. The farm guy: The tractor is really cool, it looks good once assembled. The guy has a scared face, as you would expect. It's a nice addition to the set. Blue Beetle & Killer Moth: They look really cool as well, but Killer Moth is very unstable and falls over very frequently. As I think you can't get them from any other set really, it is nice they are included in this one, which adds more value for your money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from KILLER MOTH!.. Oh, and some other stuff... I've been waiting for this set for a long time. Not this specific build exactly, but a Lego set that finally included one of my favorite supervillains ever, Killer Moth! After building this product, I was happy to see that both the vehicles and characters were outstanding. The extra pieces are even good, including but not limited to, several extra studs for ammo, a second gas mask (nice), and clear and gold stud/clip hybrids. MINIFIGURES Blue Beetle: I'm actually not a very big fan of this character, but I must admit that his Lego interpretation is very well done. The wing/scarab combination on his back makes him look bulky and cool, but doesn't get in the way of his arm movement, which is a huge plus. His back and face are great, but it's sad to see he has no arm detailing. I like the (relatively) new stud/clip piece for his hand, which makes in look like he's firing an energy blast. Killer Moth: I already mentioned how pleased I am with LEGO's choice to include good ol' Drury Walker in this set. He's highly underrated if you ask me, and he's been translated nicely into fig-form. I would suggest that he had had a wing-shaped fabric cape, not translucent plastic for his gliding wings, but that's alright. I also modified his gun with my own pieces when I got the time, because it's a little big and goofy, even though it's made of neat pieces. Moth's switch faces are great too, and his leg printing goes all the way around the sides. Bio-hazard(?) Batman: Most specialized Batman suits I've seen in the past haven't been impressive in my opinion, but this version of the Dark Knight looks sweet. The yellow eyes and breathing apparatus look menacing, and Batman even has back printing behind his cape; that's always appreciated when LEGO adds in something extra like that. He does in fact have a switch face, if anyone cares about that. I wish DC Superheroes sets would make a smaller batarang component, and in a metallic color, but that's my only real complaint here. I guess I've gotten used to the new thin cape material... Farmer... Bob: It still makes me scratch my head when LEGO includes random civilians in Superheroes sets. If we want victims for the heroes to save, we can just use our City collection; I think it's safe to say that no one asked for a totally originally-printed... farmer. I guess I like his sand blue pants and expression, but it seems like an overall waste. If LEGO had the materials to print a whole new torso and recolor a baseball cap, couldn't they have put those resources towards another fan-favorite hero, or villain? Scarecrow: Honestly, I still like my previous Arkham Asylum version of Dr. Crane better than this one, but I did like this one more than expected. The burnt orange garb reminds me of the Animated Series Scarecrow, and his hair/hat combo piece works well. His face print seems a little off to me, but I suppose it's alright. VEHICLES Red tractor: I might not care for its driver, but the tractor in this set is fairly cool. Compact and detailed, but it doesn't use up so many parts as to take away from the larger, more important contraptions included here. Fear-gas combine: This thing looks AND works stupendously. Props to whoever figured out all the proportions of the bricks to get the gears to line up to spin the front. The combine holds MANY rare pieces, its stickers really add something to the build, and I love the fear-toxin vat in the rear. It also has a pitchfork accessory located on the side. Bat-copter: The color scheme stays consistent, the weapon compartment function is fun for playing, and I like how heavy and substantial it is overall. It's very satisfying to look at when complete. This set was not too difficult to construct, and I think it should please young and old LEGO collectors. I for one found this to be the best set I've purchased in a long while, I only generally only get ten or less in a year. The price is even more reasonable, I feel; 60 dollars isn't a lot for 5 minifigures and three reasonably large vehicles, comparatively. I say, pick this one up, if you have even the smallest interest; It shouldn't disappoint!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Harvest of Fear 76054 Batman: Scarecrow Harvest of Fear is a set of 563 pieces. One can use these exciting pieces to build three vehicles (a tractor, a helicopter and a harvester) plus five minifigures. There are four numbered bags and one unnumbered bag (which contains a brick separator and some tubes) in the sealed box. The two instruction booklets included are in a plastic bag along with a sheet for 12 stickers and a 12-page comic. There are a few new rarish parts in this set such as the white 2x2 wedged plates (element numbers 6132204 and 6132203), the black rectangle shaped lattice piece (6138603), and one completely new recolor of an existing piece, the sand yellow 2x2 plate with bow (6093038). The five minifigures are (Gas Mask) Batman, Blue Beetle, Scarecrow, Killer Moth, and a farmer. Batman's attire is almost completely black with some silvery printings on his torso and this time his eyes have a greenish tint. His black cape is of a softer material than regular starched capes and his breathing apparatus is light gray. Blue Beetle's outfit is a combination of blue and black and he has transparent blue wings. His blue collar with the insect-like protrusions is made of flexible plastic. Scarecrow is dressed in tattered dark orange clothes. His hat is two-toned, and in fact it's too large for him to sit at the wheel of his harvester unless the transparent container is tilted back a notch or two. Killer Moth wears a very gaudy combination of a green mask and a purple shirt with orange and green striped trousers. He has transparent orange wings that are a completely different shape from those on Blue Beetle. The unnamed but utterly horrified farmer is clothed in sand blue trousers and a stained white tank top and a dark red baseball cap. There is no alternate face for the farmer (although this is suggested in the comic) which, in my opinion, is a crying shame. As far as I know, all minifigures are exclusive to this set. Scarecrow has appeared in three sets before (7785, 7786 and 10937) but this version of him is brand new. As I'm not familiar with all of the characters in this set, I had to do a couple of internet searches which revealed that at least Blue Beetle and Killer Moth are instantly recognizable when compared to their original characters. Dual-sided head prints are found on Batman, Killer Moth, and Scarecrow who doesn't actually have an alternate expression but just some stitching on the back of his head. Dual-sided prints however, have been used on all the torsos. Only Scarecrow and Killer Moth have printing on their legs, Killer Moth's legs have printing even on the sides, while Blue Beetle has dual molded black and blue legs. Bag one contains the parts for Killer Moth, farmer and his red and black tractor, and perhaps one third of the black, gray and blue Batcopter. Bag two reveals the pieces needed to build Batman and the rest of his chopper, whereas bag three has the bits for Blue Beetle and half of Scarecrow's harvester. The final bag includes the bricks for Scarecrow and the rest of his harvester which is mainly black and sand yellow with some brown, gray, silver and transparent green parts mixed in. I found that the build is not very difficult, even with the upside down and sideways building, but there are a bunch of scary and pretty tight technic parts on both the Batcopter and the harvester, which can cause a few problems if the builder has no previous experience with them. I also had some problems building Batman: he was very fiddly to assemble with only two hands and the combination of his cape and breathing apparatus almost had the better of me. I like the looks of this set a lot. I think the Batcopter is suitably menacing and the harvester is full of great looking details. To my delight I noticed that Batcopter's tail and landing gear offer good gripping points and make it very swooshable! I like the ammunition Scarecrow uses, the regular stud shooter studs are getting a bit old and these ones are much easier to find from the floor (as I found out when accidentally firing all four of the Batcopter stud shooters at the same time). Nevertheless, my favorite of the vehicles is the smallest one: the farmer's red tractor. So few pieces and so much details, beauty and style! I just love the fact that the designers even thought to include a plate with a towball socket at the back so one can build and attach a MOC tractor trailer to it. Although the set is a good one, I also found some minor imperfections: 1) The Batcopter cockpit is a bit small, Batman needs to be sitting in a reclining position to fit in. 2) The Batcopter stud shooters are slightly difficult to load with ammunition and there is no storage space for the Batarang or the extra ammo. 3) The light gray side guns of the copter are not too sturdily attached and the longer one pops off easily if used for gripping. 4) The small black rotor at the back of Batcopter chafes the tail section. 5) The harvester backs up / reverses very awkwardly and jerkingly. 6) The container at the back of the harvester might not be strong enough to be used to tilt it because the friction hinges are rather tight. To avoid breakage I suggest the tilting function to be operated by gripping the more strongly attached parts at the back (where the flexible hose is attached to) or making sure the transparent container walls are pushed down very firmly. 7) The container is a bit too easily opened to hold the farmer a prisoner, some sort of a locking mechanism would have been a great addition. This is a great set with some nice exclusive minifigures and cool vehicles. A definite must-have for a DC Comics or Super Heroes fan!
