Avigo - 18 inch Dirt Storm Bike is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 237.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good so far So far, seems like a good bike. I ordered this bike for my son (age 4) for Christmas, as an upgrade to his current bike which he is quickly out growing. It definitely seems like a good size and has good growth potential as it is adjustable for height and skill. It also seems like good sturdy construction and a nice design without being over the top or focused on characters. I'm sure my son will be super excited to see this bike Christmas morning! The only fault I can see so far is the packaging, the box was a little tattered when it arrived, and had a large hole that I was afraid something could have fallen out of. I would just recommend sturdier packaging.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent learning bike right price Purchased for my 5yr old son for his birthday. He asked for a blue bike. Stopped in TRU and was able to find the Rallye already put together & a safety check performed before I left the store. Son loved it the moment he saw it. Seat was easy to adjust. NO handbrakes... good old school pedal brakes the way I learned. Training wheels are sturdy. He'll be off them before I know it. I marked a con as welds. Not a showstopper, wish they could have been hidden. For the budget concerned you will not be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a great bike !!!! I purchased this bike for my son who just learned how to bike. He absolutely loved it and already rode on it everyday. The price is also right for the beginner, in my opinion. I went to the store and had my son tried out different ones, but he didn't seem to like anything. Then I went searching on the web and found this one. My son was in love with it right away. Even though there is no hand-brakes, but that's ok, since his hands are too small to reach them anyways. He was taught to reverse the pedals instead if he wanted to brake So it's perfect. I know he can ride on this for at least couple years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for a new learner We bought this bike for my 6 year-old son. He barely knows how to ride without training wheels, so this bike is the perfect height. He loved the look of the bike, and the price is pretty awesome. The quality is great for the many wrecks that I am sure he will have (but I pray he doesn't). However, it did not come with a kickstand, as most 18 inch bikes do. I had to purchase that separately. I also like the fact that it has pedal brakes, but I kind of wish it also had handlebar brakes just to make it a bit easier to transition to his next bike. All in all, it's a great first "big boy" bike.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Good to Be True! I bought this bike for my son's 6 birthday. It had no kickstand and when my son let the bike down on the concrete the pedal cracked. This was on his first ride. I gorilla tapped it and told my son, "That's disappointing but be more gentle with the bike." The second day, two reflectors just fell off as he was riding. On the third day, my son was riding the bike and the second pedal just completely unscrewed and fell off as he was riding it! It was returned on the third day with no hassle from Toys r Us but the whole experience was so disappointing, especially for my little guy. I will be looking for a well made, sturdy bike and will not mind paying the extra money because I now see "I got what I paid for!"

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but.... Bought bike online and picked up may 26th. Son who is 6 rode it once before going out of town may 28th thru June 3rd. Has no kick stand so purchased that and installed after taking training wheels off. Flash forward to June 7th, 4 days after my son gets home, and the pedal has broken off. Called toys r us to complain that after a total of 5 days of riding it, it should not have broken off. They asked if I had purchased the protection plan, and I said no, but that still should not have anything to do with a pedal breaking after being used 5 time by a 6yr old. Told me to come in with it to switch it our of they have one. Which means now I have to uninstall the kickstand and reinstall the training wheels. Offering set of pedals would be the better offer instead of me driving 45 minutes one way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't judge a picture by its looks. My 6 year old rides this bike everyday since he got it for his birthday. This bike is so good for him to help him learn how to ride and when his baby brother gets big enough to ride a bike he will be able to teach him. I would recommend this bike to anyone who is looking to buy a bike for their kids.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No frills, exactly what we needed My son is unusually tall for his age but has average dexterity. So we needed a larger sized bike, but the coaster breaks (the ones that stop the bike when the child pedals backward) are better for him than hand brakes. Most of the bikes in this size range had hand brakes, so my son was most enthusiastic about this bike. At his age, he does not need any of the side pegs for tricks and bmx type use, so it was great that this bike doesn't have those features. Because it's a single speed bike, it's easy for my son to use and we didn't have to pay for all the extras that would actually be a hindrance rather than an enhancement. I would definitely recommend this bike for the regular little kid who just wants to ride around the block.

Hi... I am interested in buying this bike. I have two questions: 1. Does the bike come assembled Or do we need to assemble it? 2. Does it come with training wheels? Thanks

    Asked by: MouG
Hello. The bike comes in a box unassailable but takes very little effort to assemble. It had no training wheels . You can buy them separately. Hope the helps.
