Portable and compactThis is the best portable booster chair on the market right now. We have both the Summer Pop N Sit and the Lobster by Phil and Ted. PopNSit will work for just about any situation except a stool, or a bench with no backing. The chair is sturdy, with rubber grippers on the bottom, so it's hard for the child to tip it over if it's just on the floor. It's super compact, easy to open and close. It takes up much less space than a plastic booster seat that cannot be folded down. Comparing with the Lobster, there were more situations where we couldn't use the Lobster--table edge has a ledge, single legged table, glass top, etc. As the baby got bigger, the PopNSit also offered more belly room and room for a rigid bib than the Lobster. The Lobster is also very compact and portable. The major disadvantage of the PopNSit is the seat belt. The buckle is sewed into the center of the seat, as opposed to the front of the seat, and is not adjustable. The 2 side straps that clip into the center one are adjustable, but not the actual center strap. There should be no problems fitting infants of various sizes, but this makes it a little difficult to strap and unstrap the infant, you kinda have to dig in there. The center strap is probably sewed into the middle of the seat as opposed to the front to keep the infant sitting more upright rather than slouching. However, if it was adjustable, that would make it more user friendly. Overall, I would highly recommend this chair as the best portable booster yet.
