Rated 5 out of 5 by UnklCrees from Fun for both the new and old generations!!! Wow!!! This was my first time purchasing a large themed LEGO product. The price always seems high for me as a personal LEGO builder/fan but when it comes to my nephew, there really is no expense if I can afford it. lol. With that said, AWESOME!!! Not only did the Ghostbuster Firehouse bring joy to my nephew, it brought an amazing smile to my face as well. I was really impressed at the detail (I can now understand the pricing). Though he was too young to truly appreciate what we created together, it opened up a nice dialogue between us.

I know 12 hours is long but I was able to slowly show my then 6 year old how to slowly pay attention to detail and detail in this set is so great from the pool table to the bathroom setting lol. I just really had major nostalgia and explained to my son how the set worked with the stairs and option for them to use the pole and the fire escape. The set is amazing and I just don't know how else to say it. The major thing is that my son just smiles and says remember when we built that daddy? and it really means alot that my son will never forget the set and how we took the time and he learned how to officially put the set together and learned attention to detail with my help which taught him so much. When I think about my son's joy I cannot put a price tag on that at all.

I recommend it to all Lego fans who have a love for details inside the building. My only complaint is that the instructions had a black background and it made some parts difficult for me to see with my old eyes, but it was easily taken care of looking at the next step(s).

This build made me relive all that fun. It was somewhat challenging since I had not done one in awhile. It took me 15 hours but it was all fun. Every time I built a new piece of the house a new memory of the movie and my childhood came back. The mini figures it comes with are great and the details in the rooms are amazing. Especially the bottom part with the lockers, containment unit and the offices. Also there a couple easter eggs I found during the build. I highly recommend this to any Ghostbusters fan.

We both love the movie and decided this was going to be our first proper LEGO build - go big or go home! We did it over a few weekends in the winter, a few bags each day and it was enormous fun. It's easy enough to pack away in between building sessions if you're organised. It looks fantastic and was a really enjoyable experience to build with my girlfriend. We had a lot of laughs and I would recommend taking your time to build this, you'll miss it when you're finished!

I personally find more joy in displaying my sets and this is perfect for that. The build took about a week for me and I very much enjoyed the building experience. As a teen I would recommend this to any other young person looking for the perfect centre piece to add to their lego collection.
