Don't buy!THis is a flawed design! It comes with only 9 little pieces of food (tiny), which are inevitably going to be lost. The dog will not work once you loose the pieces, and Hasbro does not make replacement food. Do not buy this!!

My daughter loves it!Very nice!
It allows multiple ways of playing with it : going for a walk in the house as the dog has a leash and rolls, it eats and it poops whish is tremendously funny and entertaining to my 4,5 years old. Plus it's a cute dog which you can cuddle and which make noises as he eats, poops and has fun walking. She played with it with a little neighbor, a boy, and he really appreciated the dog's features as well.
The Furreal friends are expensive and we were lucky to buy this one on sale at 50% off.
Yes the 8 pieces of food are tiny but my daughter is learning on taking care of her things as she will soon be turning 5. The food came in a plastic bag which we threw away as it was not user-friendly. Instead, I placed the food in a very little Tupperware closable pink tin and so far, she is doing great at not losing the pieces as she knows that once it's gone...too bad! So she is really making an effort here. She plays with and puts back the food in the jar after use.
I would suggest buying this toy to a cautious little kid over 4. And if the kid is only 4, explain him/her well that they have to take good care of the food. And they'll have a great time with it!
