Squishy, Gross, Educational, FunThis is a great, independent play, toy as well as educational. Parents can take advantage of the opportunity to explore body parts with their child(ren) and provide additional teaching. We purchased this for my StepDaughter for Christmas. She first explored the squishy anatomy with her Dad, but pulls out the set to explore on her own now at the kitchen table. There is a body map that comes with the kit, so she removes and puts back the body parts in consultation with the map, learning the proper names of the body parts and has developed the ability to identify each part visually. Since this provides a 3-D shape, she also now knows what they look and feel like shape-wise, and where they are located within the body. Parts are very sticky, so you want to play on a clean, hard surface. Lots of small parts. As she describes it, "It's awesome fun!"
