More often than not, it leaks. I wanted to love these because they matched my bottles and had ml/oz measurements. However as I was working so hard in my breast milk supply I would store the milk in these cups and if you did closely monitor how the lid went on, it easily cross threaded and your precious milk spills! Okay so you have to be extra mindful as you're exhausted and working to pump extra milk. However the max milk you can put in the cups is 6oz. I filled the cups to the 4oz line and when the milk froze it warped the cups, dislodging the lid! When I used my Avent bottle warmer to thaw the frozen milk, it spilled out of the lid!!! Unless you use a permanent sharpie to write the date on the container (there is a spot for it), it will wipe off as soon as there is any condensation (so when you put it in the freezer). Freezes and keeps the milk perfectly. There is a measurement discrepancy between these Avent containers and Dr. Brown bottles. The Dr. Brown bottles are labeled US OZ, but I can't seem to find whether or not the Avent system uses US or UK ounces.
