It has many different songs and sounds that kids love. It teaches colors, letters, weather, numbers, animals, and songs! The train can be ridden on, pulled, or used as a walker if not playing with it on the ground. There is an on and off switch that has two options-a book that reads things and a train that is more for playtime fun with train noises. There are also two volume options to help parents with noise levels. On the front of the engine, there are lights, a clock, book-like pages that you can flip, many buttons, and a spot to place blocks in to tell you what letter it is. There is a number pad that teaches some animals and the numbers and a phone/walkie talkie that allows for pretend play. On the top of the train engine, there's a slot you can put blocks in and it shoots them out towards the caboose. When you put the letters in the block chute, it counts the blocks before shooting them to the caboose. On the side of the engine, the block scanner helps teach young kids letters and numbers by placing a single block in the slot and it will read it to you. There are small gears that can be turned or spun.
The caboose can be sat on to drive the train but it doesn’t work well on thick carpet, just hard floors or very thin carpet. When sitting on the caboose, a child can use the handle to keep balance or it can be used to help as a walker. The caboose can also be used as a pull cart and can store blocks underneath. The train takes three AA batteries and the caboose maximum weight capacity is 42 pounds. Overall, the VTech Sit-to-Stand Ultimate Alphabet Train is an exceptional learning toy for several phases of young life.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so glad that we got the Sit-to-Stand Ultimate Alphabet Train from VTech because the kids absolutely love playing with it. We can learn colors, letters, animals, numbers and music. It comes with stackable letter blocks, light up buttons, storybook page, happy clock face, number keys and walk-in talkie, there’s a chute for the blocks. You can ride on it. Use as a walker or pull the cart. With 260 + songs, melodies, sounds and phrases my kids play for hours at a time and they are learning lots of things.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far my favorite Vtech educational toy so far. It teaches numbers, counting, animals and their sounds, colors, the weather, letters of the alphabet, words, you can use the blocks to build things, it has music, lights, it teaches your baby how to walk, helps with motor skills, this train is amazing!! It even encourages my baby to clean up her toys, she loves when the blocks go down the chute and into the basket/seat. It is extremely easy to set up but I suggest doing it while your child is asleep because the minute you take it out the box they will not be able to get their hands off of it. I wish I could give it 10 stars. This is absolutely worth every penny and your child will be able to enjoy this for a while because it has so many things to do.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The V-Tech Sit to Stand Ultimate Alphabet Train is a wonderful toy for my kids. It was very easy to put together and it stays together well. It is also is to convert from sit to stand. It stays whichever way I want. My little ones love that it was 2 pieces and they rode on the back one with the engine in front, making it so much more the fun. The small alphabet blocks were also fun. WHile my little ones did enjoy putting them in the train and hearing the sounds, they enjoyed putting them through the top and watching them pop out into the train car more and I was impressed because they stay in the train and not al over my floor. Lots of fun ways for my kiddos to learn their ABC's is why I will be reccomending it to my friends and family.</span>
