awefull design, no training wheels will fitI bought this bike may 13/17. the one on the shelf had no training wheels so my 6 yr old daughter who needs training wheels couldn't try it out. I bought separate training wheels the bike sales associate promised me would fit "on any of our bikes".
Not only is the rear bolt to short to fit the training brackets (even after chain guard removed) the bike has other design issues.
The pedals are to close under the butt when the seat is raised and inch and a half above minimum height. the Handle bars have to be pushed quite forward in order to clear the knees.
for a child that is 4' tall with the seat and bars at lower range of recommended heights, its not a good ride based on pedal height... do not buy for a child that is only a ways away from smaller training wheel bikes, this one would fit a 9 yr old better.
the paint scuffs incredibly easy. Instructions are vague and bolts are so tight they will round off when trying to remove them.
