When my munchkins are not feeling well, I am able to pop into their rooms and check their temps without disturbing them, and this also makes it easy to not transfer germs. I like that this thermometer has an easy to read display, and that the display is backlit so that I can read it even in their dimly lit rooms. The thermometer is digital and shows green, yellow and red with the temperatures shown. It has silent mode to not disturb your sleeping little one which is an added bonus.
