The way you have to assemble it, makes the material and product overall come off as cheap. The only thing I'd add to the product, is some kind of seatbelt to keep my child safely inside and buckled. In the middle of our walks, he tends to open the door and get out (but then again that's my son). From the instruction manual missing a part letter from the very first step, immediately followed by I needed a power drill to resize some of the holes so the metal poles would fit. I've built a few of these type cars before for my nieces. The difference was those were from a different brand and had great instructions and videos. It is very durable and easy to use and put together! It's dual functionality is awesome as well. However, be warned that this product does NOT come with a seatbelt of any kind and hat is a little discouraging to me. Anyone who has a toddler, knows they do not sit for more than a minute a time. They are curious and love to move around and climb and what not. Right when we purchased it, my son was trying to step out of it and smacked his chin off the windshield and busted his lip. If he is riding around in it and smacks into something his head and body obviously go forward and their is nothing to secure him from smacking his face. Also, the plastic is very sharp in some places. It's left out son with scratches on his hands and face. Just really use with caution and if your child is under two, I definitely would recommend that you wait to purchase this! We called Step 2 ourselves and they said the seatbelt was not apart of the design for them because of how high the windshield and doors are, that children could not fall out... but falling out is half the problem! They didn't take into account that toddlers are restless and don't like to just sit... There's nothing to protect them from going forward if you had to stop fast or if they run it into something... let's face it.
