At least Baby is EntertainedAlthough my son seems entertained by this toy I doubt I would buy it again. The balls pop out of the top with unnecessary thrust about half of the time. They'll fly 6-8 inches up in the air and smack your baby in the face on occasion. Also, the functions of this toy are not as complex as they appear on first glance. The balls go up and then roll down, the green slide on the left is completely unnecessary and just added for symmetries sake. Note: if your baby is like mine, they'll probably try to put shape sorter shapes and such in the toy and jam it up. It's possible to unclog this, but the space is small and it can be difficult.

Cool concept but very noisyI was really excited about this toy because at the time we didn't own any anything that popped balls into the air. However, this was a little bit of a let down for me. I knew this toy was going to make noise, like music playing and fun beach sounds, but what bothers me the most is that you can barely hear those sounds over the spinning motor that brings the balls into the popper. It is soo loud that you can barely talk to anyone while it's playing. My child doesn't care about this though- he loves it and plays with it everyday and giggles every time a ball pops into the air. Just a wasteThis thing is too loud and too fast for a 1 yr. old. That being said, those are the product's best attributes. Worst of all, when the balls shoot out of the top they fly all over the place instead of going back down the shoot. My beagle loved it because as the balls flew out in any direction, he chased them down like he was hunting wild game. The design is flimsy and with balls shooting all over the place it isn't useful at all. Toys R Us should pull it immediately.

Fun but.....I'm really disappointed in this. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because the music and colors are good. The balls get stuck all the time, to the point where it is unusable. I'm really upset about this. My one year old doesn't even like to play with it. In my opinion, it was a waste of money. She was excited about it when she first opened it for her birthday, but now doesn't want to play with it because she gets frustrated that the balls get stuck 30 seconds to a minute after turning it on. I would not recommend this. (And I'm a mom who doesn't leave reviews like this. EVER.)

Age range might need some adjustingI think the age range might be a little off the mark on this product. The ball popper can be a bit - for lack of a better word - violent at times, sometimes missing putting to much force on the ball so it over pops. The whole thing is very loud from the motor to the music, not sure why it is so electronic and motorized. I thought this was a simpler toy, it was originally a gift which we had to exchange after we couldn't get the first one working. Now it's too scary for my son whose at the bottom edge of the age range. We have put away for the time being, in a few months I think he will enjoy it.

Lots of Fun!!!We got this for our 10 month old, she absolutely loves it, the balls pop up through the top, slide down the slide, into the "pool" spinning into the slot to make it all happen again, and our daughter loves every second of it!!! My advice though is to make sure you watch the baby with it, our little girl got so excited that she stuck her finger on the pop up part and got it pinched, she is fine, but it happened so fast, just watch. Also sometimes the balls get jammed when they are in the tunnel waiting to be popped up just put another ball in the tunnel to push on them and it starts going again.

Mayank Kaushal from
Faulty ProductWe got this as a gift during my wife's babyshower on Oct 25, 2014, and is meant for kids in 12-36 months range. Our boy turned 1 today, and we decided to open this product for him on his b'day. Well, the motor lasted 10 seconds and stopped rotating thereafter. The buttons are working but the motor is not rotating anymore. This is the worst product we have received/ purchased so far, and it stopped working even before my little boy could see it. Now since this is not under warranty, I am not sure what can I do, even though this was op-ened only today. We have the gift receipt with us still, if that helps. If this is not replaced, this will the last 'Bright Starts' toy ever that I have ever had.
