It's great for small spaces since it's collapsible, and it can be put in an angle for small babies who can't sit up yet, which is very practical. Very poor design - very cheap brittle plastic used in manufacture of leg support mechanism - meaning there is no give - just breakage sooner or later. So me it was 2nd use . The bath itself is good, the silicone is good - all this relies on the support of the the legs being locked into place which is very easily broken simply by operating as required by the manufacturers. Sadly cannot recommend this - clearly this did no pass any repetitive testing before marketing and going to market. I would not recommend this for a newborn because the tub is so long and your baby is so reclined that you can get water in their ears when they slip around, but I would highly recommend this for once your child has grown out of their newborn tub. We had a sink tub, but our 4 month old is now too big for it so we wanted a tub that could grow with him. So we got this tub for him since he's not super stable when sitting yet so he can be reclined, and in a month or two when he's stable sitting we can fully drop the bottom. I have the incline bar locked into place as stated on the directions, so I haven't had slipping issues like some of the other reviewers. She does slide down a little because she still likes to curl her legs up, so I put very little water in the tub. If she was still a newborn, I probably wouldn't feel comfortable with this tub. Also, the drain is at the upper, elevated end, so you can't drain the water without taking your baby out. For example, if the baby pees in the tub. I would recommend this for babies that sit on their own, but I personally don't really like it for my 6 month old. The tub collapses flat to hang right on the shower rod or towel rack. It is sleek and attractive and made of a soft silicone. No unsightly tub to move when adults decide to shower. It is also designed to be inclined for newborns or deeper for older infants. One reminder for users is to make sure the incline support bar is secure because if not your child will &quot;plop&quot; down and hit bottom which is scary for mom; although it happened twice to me and the baby didn't even flinch. Even though it made a loud thud when it dropped, it must be designed to cushion the drop. Another thing I do is add is a towel under the child's head because it seems more comfortable to me but might not make a big difference to babies.
