It's very busy in the Parisian Restaurant. As a scooter zips by, inside the waiter rushes between the tables as the nervous young man gets ready to propose with the ring! It's just as hectic behind the scenes, with the chef busily preparing the food. This beautifully detailed building is the setting for so many stories and is a great addition to the modular building series. The Parisian Restaurant has a fully-stocked, blue and white tiled kitchen with tableware as well as a cozy apartment with pull-down bed, kitchenette and fireplace. On the top floor is the artist's room with a studio that includes a cast iron heater, easel, paintbrush and two works of art by the aspiring artist. Outside, stairs lead down to the roof terrace lined with hanging lanterns and flowers where the diners eat alfresco-style. This amazing Parisian Restaurant model even includes a facade with croissants, clams and feather details that recapture the feel of Paris. Includes 5 minifigures: chef, waiter, girl and a romantic couple.

LEGO Creator - Parisian Restaurant (10243) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 187.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning...... I've gone on a bit of a modular fest this last couple weeks after rekindling my modular addiction after putting together the Ghostbusters Firehouse. I've built the pet shop, cinema, the restaurant and assembly square. I'd built the cinema and pet shop years ago when they were first released so got them out of the way first. THIS, is by far my favourite modular to date. The finished model is simply beautiful and I'm completely in love with it. It's the only one I will probably leave a review of. It's very pretty, superb interior and exterior details, is great to play with and looks fabulous on a street. Don't hesitate. If this set disappoints you, you are not a fan of Lego!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome This is an excellent modular building. A restaurant has been long-needed in the modular building series. What it lacks in size it makes up for in detail. The architectural style and detail, as well indoor and outdoor seating are characteristic of real Parisian restaurants. The interior is also full of details. The back is simple, but not bare. The Even though there is a lot of detail, it is still durable. The inclusion of the printed sign and menu, as well as the moped, was a good idea. The selection of minifigures included is nice. It fits in nicely with other modular buildings. It is a relatively good deal, but I am willing to pay up to 200 USD for something a bit bigger next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very excellent This is my first lego set. I like it very much. Its interior and external are very refinement. When I biult it, there were a lot of surprise. It's amazing. I think I will be a lego fan because of it. Could you please open Lego stores in Netherlands? We will be very happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lego set!!! Parisian Restaurant is on of the greatest Lego creator experts sets. The entire building is full of details, especially in the restaurant. In there, we have two tables, a kitchen with accessories and two beautiful windows with curtains. Also on the second level of the building, we have a very nice terrace with chairs and flowers. The only disadvantage of this set is that the artist studio should have more details. Comparing to the older modular buildings sets (Palace Cinema, Grand Emporium) this set is smaller and with more details. Parisian Restaurant is perfect for you if you want a luxurious restaurant in your Lego city.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Parfait! I am not that familiar with building Lego sets, but I love Paris and I love to cook so I wanted to put this in my kitchen/dining area. I LOVE this set! I took to building it like a duck to orange sauce. Apparently I am a hidden Expert builder because I found it easy, addictive, and FUN to build this Paris Restaurant right in my kitchen! I have used it photographically, because I am a photographer, and I have shown it off to my friends - they think I'm nuts anyway so no harm done. If you like to build, this is a great set. (Yes, I am a grandmother and, no, I don't let anyone but me play with it.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Beautiful Addition to my Lego Collection I already own 3 other modular buildings and this is the best yet for detail and beauty. Lego are on to a winner with a combination of a kaki green and deep blue which just looks so sophisticated in this set. It's a set with lots of a amazing details like a folding bed, moped, a dustbin and the word 'Chez' hidden within the build. As you build you just find yourself going 'wow' as pieces fit together and the details appear. This is a set for those who love small fiddly bits. I think my fingers will need a few days to recover after so much building enjoyment and intensity. There are a lot of small bricks and tiles! It takes time and is certainly an expert level build that I loved putting together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favourite... so far This set is simply so likeable that you have to think hard to find any cons. Ok, so I don't have many sets and this was my first modular. It doesn't matter really, because when I pay this much for a toy, I always have second thoughts regardless of its quality. Right here, I have none. This is the first time I can't think of any criteria being less than 5/5. First, the building is yummy. Quite simple really but hey, it's not Technic. Some stages may be monotonous for some people (like tiles, roof, some decorations), but they last for a few minutes and then you start doing something else. From time to time you need to stop building just to marvel at the results. That's why it took me 14 hours. The parts are usually small, but incredibly varied. The colors I like the most are olive green and dark blue. Decorative parts are wonderful. In the kitchen there are so many accessories that you'd cook yourself some dinner straight away, if you were a minifigure. Other useful parts include lots of plants, fences, tiles, windows and of course plenty of different bricks. THERE ARE NO STICKERS. Minifigures are nothing special for me. They just add to the Restaurant's playability which is quite considerable. They can cook, paint, clean windows, chase a rat, ride a bike or drink so many bottles of different brands, just to fall asleep on a nearby bench. I can guarantee you'll keep saving for another modular after getting this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Only one flaw I love this building - there are so many fun details and it's just darn attractive. One of my favorite things when building is looking at the picture on the box and wondering, "how did they do that" and then slowly putting that bit together and going "aaaah! How clever." Each floor has interest and had fun sub-builds - that't not always the case with the modular which seem to get more plain as they go up. The roof on this one was a lot of fun to put together. My only complaint about this and the only reason to drop a star is how this fits into the street with the other modulars. The second floor open-air part of the restaurant ends up right up next to the wall on the next building. I have a mini-fig sitting at the table with a croissant and he just looks so sad jammed up against the wall of the neighboring building. I've designed a little add-on - just one floor that extends the restaurant area, but the olive bricks are expensive to come-by, so I'm not sure if I'm going to build it. All in all, this is a great kit and I really recommend it.
