The lid sometimes blows off during severe storms with high winds. Replace the lid when you see it off and it will last! Something we sit a regular brick on the top to help hold it down. This sandbox has been through my 2 older kids and now my 3 year old. It is pretty expensive for how small it is. I have a 3 year old and a 2 year old that barely fit comfortably it in, and both of them are slightly short. So taller toddlers, would probably have a harder time fitting. Also, my biggest issue is that the lid does not help much anymore. For the first couple months, the lid worked great. However, it seems to have changed over time, maybe after being out in the sun? Now, it will not sit flat in the ridges when you close it, so everytime it rains, it all just trickles right into the sandbox and turns the kids' sand into a huge mess and they don't really want to get in there now. Its pretty disappointing for how much this thing cost.
