Car seat does not slide around as it's securely fastened to the seat so the individual claiming the car seat slides around on it should try tightening the straps.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Don't know what model seat they used to design this, but it is about 4" too short for the bottom of our seat. In order to protect where my daughters feet go, where we have carpet, the bottom of our seat no longer sits on the protector itself. It would need to be another about 4" to make it to the back of the seat. And using the back piece would be absolutely no use, as that too is about 4-6" too short. It would sit right in the arch area of our Britax Boulevard. The material is good, just definitely a poor fit for a Lincoln LS.</span>

We didn't use the back piece because we felt it unnecessary but would have used it with our son's rear facing carseat. The bottom piece is ok. It definitely does not have a big enough lip on it to collect a major spill but it keeps the crumbs off the seat. There is enough room around all sides to collect crumbs but I am not sure with my son's wider carseat base if it would really protect the seat.</span>

After going to have the car seat installed by a professional, I was told that Chicco does not recommend using the seat protectors. She explained that if I was to be in an accident and the car seat failed, Chicco wouldn't do anything about it because this product was installed. I like that the two pieces come apart. With the newborn carrier I use just the bottom piece. With my son's Britax, I use both, but detach them and move the back piece higher up because the Britax car seats are a little taller then the average seat. Great purchase!</span>

Infant/convertible seats still leave a slight indent but it's better protection than not having anything and also catches the hot chocolate, milk, cheerios, dirty feet from toddlers, etc. With infant seats you do need to secure VERY tightly as there is some shift on leather seats.</span>

<span itemprop="description">i bought it for the same reason everyone else wants(not to dent my leather)Well i pulled my car seat out after 6 months it being on the protector and my leather is still unfortunetly dented.. So i think its not 100%. IM SURE MY LEATHER WOULD BE WORSE WITHOUT IT.. IM HAPPY I STILL BOUGHT IT THOUGH..</span>
