<span itemprop="description">I really wanted to like this purchase. I thought the idea was great; a carrier that was made from sturdy but stretchy fabric, that could just be slipped on with not hook or clips and hold baby. However, each and every time I try to use this product, it just feels so uncomfortable!
The fabric pieces are so large in width (presumably to hold baby more securely) that when I wear the K’tan, they roll onto themselves. So instead on evenly distributing baby’s weight across my back and side, the fabric digs into my sides as the weight of my baby pulls down the fabric. I used the sizing guide and bought a M. And initially I thought this might have been the issue, as I was quite large after giving birth. But even now, after losing close to 60 pounds, I still have the same problems.
I am not sure if this just works better with smaller babies (mine is in the 85th percentile), or if I am just using it incorrectly. But I have tried looking at videos online for proper use, as well as followed the instruction guides that are sold with the product, and always the same problems. At this point, my baby even seems to be uncomfortable as I cannot seem to get her to seat properly, no matter how I pull, twist or place the fabric.
I ended up buying myself a second carrier of a different make.</span>

<span itemprop="description">As a first time mom I didn't want to and didn't have time to try and learn how to use a wrap. Initially I purchased a more structured carrier, but my baby was very clingy after birth, so I needed something softer to use at home. We bought K'tan, and one of the reasons I gave it 4 stars is because I was disappointed as soon as I opened the box - although the details here state it can be used from birth, the actual weight limits are 8-35 lbs per the manual, and my baby weighed less than 8 lbs. For this reason we couldn't use it, and it was sitting around for a while (my baby became less clingy and we had another carrier in use). Then we went traveling, and this carrier became a life saver. It made it a breeze to go through security, and my baby actually slept in it! It feels very snug, and I need some hep to get her in it, but it's also very secure. The material doesn't stretch too much for me, so I can use it a lot before washing. I can recommend it for sure!</span>

<span itemprop="description">It’s easy to use compared to the wraps you have to wrap yourself. But I wouldn’t use without holding one hand on baby at all times. I may have needed an XS or perhaps baby just sits lower than in the pictures for me (I wear a small to medium T-shirt so went with with small, also after talking to a smaller friend). All in all, this does make it easier to hold baby for longer periods of time, gives me some flexibility, and is a bit easier on my back than holding the baby without a sling or wrap.</span>

After she got used to it I can now say this has become an integral part of our daily routine (she is 5 months on Tuesday). I can honestly say I could not imagine life without it! Love that there are so many positions and they are all super easy. The guide has pictures and details on how to use but is a quick reference guide so you can read it over with baby in tow! This product makes naps a breeze!!! Thank you!!! However I was advised to get the XS based on size guideline and am glad I went with the Small as it starts out extremely snub and therefore I think this is why baby was uncomfortable. After months of use it has drastically stretched out and is due for a wash. Hear that brings it back to it's original shape.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I'm wearing this with my sleeping 1 month old while I write this review. They wouldn't sleep without fussing unless they were on my chest so this has really helped to free my hands up since I started wearing it a couple days ago! It's fairly comfortable and lightweight to wear around the house (and actually kind of flattering looking), though just like all that added weight in the front makes you uncomfortable while pregnant, the same can happen here. It does feel too small when you first put it on (as the instruction manual says it will) but so far this does seem to be the right size for me -- I'll just be amazed to see how my baby continues to fit it as they grow. After awhile my baby will squirm and want out for a stretch (though he can be comfortable in it for hours). The only big downside to this carrier is that it's person specific. It won't fit my husband which means we'll probably be looking for a second carrier for hikes.</span>

It came with a booklet with easy to read steps on different ways to use the carrier. It is a very comfortable material as well and easy to throw into the wash. <span itemprop="description">I bought this after trying a few other wrap style carriers and this one is by far the easiest to use! As a first time user and first time Mom I found the other "wrap it yourself" style carriers hard to use and I never felt like I had it secure enough. The K'Tan was quick and simple. My son loves it and falls asleep almost immediately. As a plus size person I was concerned about fit, but the XL fit just fine for both me and my husband.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Overall good product. Easy to use with a variety of positions including for newborns. I am 5’9” ~140 lbs with a small upper body. I usually wear a dress size 4 but could wear anywhere from a 2-6 depending on the brand. My pre-pregnancy bra size was 32D and is now 34DD. Based on the size guide I found I was between sizes so sized down as recommended. I got the xs and have used it a bit but have at times been concerned it is too small. If you are my size I recommend getting the small. I certainly cannot breastfeed in the xs due to the size. I think sizing down didn’t really work due to my height maybe.</span>

Honestly I got the size based on my pre pregnancy weight and it worked out really fine for me Specially cuz i had a underweight baby i loved k&rsquo;tan so soft to wear around. i even wore it to disneyland n breastfed him while being on boats etc... i wont vot this for a toddler thou
