Pivot!
Car seats are recommended to go in the middle of the backseat. Well most sedans don't have a headrest on the middle back row seat! This is perfect because it can go on the back passenger seat and actually pivot to see my baby! I could not find any other product to do the same. Added bonus! There is not something that can fall on my baby! I know they all secure very well, but if sometimes happens and it becomes detached mine will fall onto an empty seat rather than on my baby :) hope this helps!

Adjustable back seat mirror
When driving with baby alone, you would want to be able to see her while you're driving to see how she is doing. After changing from a stroller/car seat combo to a bigger car seat, I was not able to see my baby with the mirror that I had originally. Because of where the car seat is now, it makes for a bad angle and the mirror I had would not stay on the headrest and would fall off. When I picked up this mirror, I noticed that it was adjustable after mounting on the headrest. We purchased it, installed it and now I am able to see my baby from the driver's seat, with no problem and it stays put if I'm going over bumpy roads.

Perfect for any car!
After buying four different mirrors that were not compatible with my car, I finally found one. I think it's safe to say this mirror adapts to any head rest. In my car the back seat head rest does not lift up, it is completely attacked to the seat, and this mirror had to straps; one that one from the front to the back and one that went from the side to the side. So I was able to buckle the side straps for it to fit right on. And you don't have to worry about unbuckling it to readjust it as it has a rotating peace on it so you can just move it around and adjust is as you like without ever having to take it off.

Pleased With the Product
We live a good 5-6 hour drive from both my husband and my parents. It can get a little nerve racking to not have a view of your 3 month old for that long especially when they get quiet. The mirror provided huge relief. It's large enough to give a really nice few of our little one. You do have to play around with it when first installing it. We found it helpful to have one person in the driver seat and the other setting it up. I know some people had issues depending on the car with the back headrests but we drive Hyundai's ( me a sonata and my husbands always changes for work) and the mirror worked great. If setup correctly, we have had no issues with it slipping or moving during the drive.

Had high hopes
The mirror is large, but that's about all it has going for it. I had high hopes for this, but upon installing it in our '09 CR-V we were unable to position it so we can see the baby in the carseat because the headrest points more towards the ceiling. I've also noticed that while it is pretty stable when positioning it, it tends to wobble side to side. The mirror also distorts things slightly. It does seem to work with our '06 Civic though.

This mirror has changed my driving experience with my infant
This little mirror is awesome... my husband actually picked it out on one of our many babies r us shopping trips... when he brought it back to the cart, I kind of bought it was unnecessary, but after I stole it out of his vehicle it use in my own, I can't live without it! My daughter used to HATE driving in the car! She hated the car seat and hated that she couldn't see anything except the seat and cried most the time. Now that she can see herself, see me, and I can see her when I'm driving, she loves going for car rides! Who would have thought that something so simple would make such a huge difference! There is no way my husband is getting it back! We will definitely have to buy another one!

Place Mirror Upside Down
After first installation and testing by driving around, I almost returned this mirror. I then read a review by a reviewer who said it works better when the mirror has the Britax logo upside down. This is due to the fact that the mount plate is not directly in the center on the back of the mirror. Since it is mounted a little low this makes the mirror move and tilt on it's own when driving. Once I flipped it the mirror now stays put and doesn't move around. However, while driving, it does shake but that is understandable. It does not defeat the purpose of being able to see the baby.

Awesome for cars with no middle seat head rest!
I love this mirror because the mirror swivels and pivots! I have a car with no middle seat head rest, so it works perfectly on the side seat head rests. I don't care for the cheap feeling hard plastic frame (vs the softer material frame I had before) and I feel like the pivot joint (or the gap between the back and the mirror) is a little too big. It would defintetly be better if it was a thinner profile and the actual frame was a better quality material. Also, the mirror is a little large and convex so it distorts the mirror affect a bit. I'm sure it'll be better once I get used to it more. The securing straps/buckles seem very sturdy and effective. Highly recommend for someone with no middle head rest!
