He's able to ride it on his own and it's not far to fall if he does tumble. Make sure they wear a helmet though. Time will tell how it'll hold up and how it'll convert but I'm happy so far.</span>

Don't like the tires. I had a borrowed running bike for my older son with normal bike tires, he caught on to the running bike so much quicker because it felt more grip.</span>
