I have always used Cetaphil products for my son as he has eczema and this brand has worked better for him than any of the others we have tried. I have used this moisturizer after his baths, before bed, for a short time now and I do find that it works well. It has a light scent but it doesn't irritate his skin. It is easy to apply (when my toddler isn't squirming!) and it absorbs quickly, which is handy with a little one. It isn't greasy. It leaves his skin soft and helps it to retain the moisture from his bath. It also helps to clear up any dry eczema patches he gets on his legs and arms. It has 1%Colloidal oatmeal, which works wonderfully for any eczema flare-ups or severely dry skin. Contrary to what I expected, I found the texture to be very lightweight and easily absorbed. It certainly did a great job for my son, locking in the skin,'s moisture and protecting the skin's moisture barrier. His skin seemed so much softer and non irritated. I even went ahead and tried some on my very dry and dehydrated cuticles and it did a marvelous job of rehydrating them. Added bonus, it is paraben, soap and fragrance free plus dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic. Certainly, something that every parent of young ones, with skin concerns, needs to use on a daily basis.
