I just googled why is my Dreamtopia Barbie lights stuck on and ran into all these bad reviews so I got the screwdriver out and opened the back of my daughters' doll. I am shocked to find gooey leaking batteries all over the onside inside of the unit. Does this mean this has been leaking into my childs bath?!?! I am highly concerned about the safety of children with this product. Zero stars.</span>

We are starting to teach our daughter about the value of money so we let her spend a portion of her birthday money (you know, "save some, spend some, do good with some"). She chose to buy this with her own money and soon after it stopped lighting up. She's so disappointed. I guess we also have to reach her that sometimes you get disappointed in the things you spend money on.</span>

She loves to practice swimming like her new Sparkle Lights Mermaid. She loves that the tail lights up and that her tail can move. I was a little nervous about Barbie’s hair after a few times in the pool but we braided it before the first use and it’s holding up just fine. She also plays with it with her “human” barbies too. The mermaid tells them all about life under the sea! Lol. It would be a great bath toy as well. Would definitely recommend!</span>

<span itemprop="description">Just bought this toy, specifically to be used in the pool. My 6 y/o daughter was in awe! She loves Barbies! And she takes really good care of all of her toys. She already has a Barbie Dream House, car, helicopter, many Barbies and Ken dolls. First time having an issue in less than 48 hours after getting a toy. The lights don't work anymore, except for the first one by the hip line. We are hoping the lights will go back to life eventually, but not sure if they will ever light up again. She is very disappointed, and so am I. I throw away the box this morning... Is there any guarantee we can use? I have the receipt.</span>
