Works well and we have all Thomas and Friends Wood playsets (just hit the age where they like it) so no issues with compatability. My only knock is that the trains don&rsquo;t go up evenly if they have multiple connected. Lots of falling down but the kids don&rsquo;t seem to mind much. The new design diminishes the danger of a hurt or broken finger and is a fine and useful change. The tapering on the ends of the outside edge of the tracks and resulting gaps needs to be rethought as it increase derailment around bends. The ascending/descending track's curves are too tight and result in the leading magnet to scrape which is not a fun nor comfortable experience.
