<span itemprop="description">The build itself was straight forward.
Details:
I was a bit unhappy with the sticker applied to the upper-front windscreen. It's a thin, red line and, with no straight edges to use as reference, it nearly impossible to apply squarely.
The pole in the entryway is flexible to allow some of the small bits (i.e. tickets and umbrella) to be removed. But the flexing required to do so is pretty severe and the bending appears to stick around, leaving the pole looking bendy permanently.
General Build: Build appeared very solid until the last couple steps. The two front corners tend to pop off unless the removable roof is reattached with great care. Also, the rear-view mirrors fall off with the slightest touch. Even the vibration from rolling the bus along the floor will cause the mirrors to detach.</span>

It wasn’t the hardest one I’ve ever done, but there are some very creative elements to it that made it fun to build like the seats, the stairwell in the back, the roof and the advertising panels. Instruction book was very easy to read and follow. I like the fact you can remove the upper level roof to look inside. It’s nit challenging like the Bugatti but it was still quite fun to do it! I would recommmed without question.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Le rendu final du set est le gros point fort en plus du fait que ce bus soit une icône reconnaissable par tout le monde. Au niveau du montage, mis à part les séquences répétitives, j’attribuerai ce set plutôt à la gamme CREATOR plutôt que CREATOR EXPERT car il n’y a pas de vraies techniques difficiles ou innovantes… Il y a aussi un peu trop de stickers à mon goût et les panels latéraux où viennent se mettre les plus gros stickers restent un peu entre ouverts, ils ne restent pas plaqués contre le bus ce qui est un peu dommage. Il aurait fallu un point d’attache à chaque extrémité. Il y a néanmoins quelques détails sympas comme le parapluie, l’escalier pour accéder à l’étage est bien pensé ou le capot moteur qui s’entrouvre. Le modèle est bien robuste et rend bien une fois exposé. Je vous le conseille à moindre prix que sur le shop, et dans cette gamme il y a d’autres sets à prendre en priorité. <span itemprop="description">This set mostly looks good and is definitely very recognizable, But I think it needs some more playability and a bit more interesting of a build. Really its only features are a removable second decker and roof, a sliding driver's windowpane opening hood revealing a not very detailed engine, and turning wheels the are quite hard to pull into a turn. It also seems like the build is repetitive and dull. I mean, who wants to build 30 identical seats? On the up side, It seems very detailed for it's scale and looks good everywhere but the front end. The front end is a lumpy, wrong-sized disaster. Other than that, it looks great (extra points for the "High tea requires quality biscuits" ads on the side with pictures of lego Oreos)! If you are looking for a good display model, then this is the set for you.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is my second Lego kit (I am a late starter). I find the kits focus me and this one was amazing. The detail in it - adjustable rear view mirrors, the drivers side window that slides open and closed, the fire extinguisher and the umbrella stand to name just a few - amazing! I had the same problem as one of the other reviewers with dark gray, gray, black in the instructions but it was in a place that is not visible so I am doing my best to just "let it go". I even use the pdf instructions on my laptop so that I can zoom in and I am not sure how I made the error, but it is okay. Only I (and you readers now) know. I am surprised it did not come with a little driver and a couple passengers. I will add some from other purchases. Overall, if you can get this, it is wonderful and helps to feed my need to be around British things!</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is a great piece! It was my first vehicle that wasn’t either from speed champs or city and I really enjoyed it.
The bus looks great and is pretty big when complete. It’s pretty much dead on scale to fit mini figs too...but I’m gonna need to modify some of the seats and floor pieces to reveal some studs. It’s sturdy enough that most kids can play without causing too much damage.
I had so much fun with this I went out and bought the two Volkswagen sets: Bug and camper, right after I finished it. I’m gonna grab that mustang too. And any other creator expert vehicles I can find.</span>

The various tiles and rounded bricks make this a great final product with very little brick studs showing. When finished, it is a solid build, and a good display piece. Not as much of a play item. Some printed tiles for the smaller stickers would make this set even better.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I really like vehicle models and as I work in a transport adjacent industry and have done for a number of years in different areas this kit seemed like a logical fit. It is a classic looking double decker bus that brings to mind the old Routemaster buses that not only ran in London but were prevalent in Manchester in the late 1980s that I used to get to and from Uni every day.
First off, lets talk about the punny destinations - they gave the other half an I a great deal of pleasure and amusement. Brickston, Yellow Brick Road, Brickadilly Circus and Twobytwo Square.
There are quite a lot of stickers in this kit and they are my nemesis. The ones for the number plates and destinations weren't too bad but I really struggled with the ones for the advertising signage on the sides. Fortunately, I can report they peel off and restick easily and of the 6 on the side signage I think I had to remount 5.
There is some repetitive building - all those seats! However, it didn't get boring which I thought making 14 seats for the top deck after making around 12 for the bottom deck would have tipped me over the edge but I still enjoyed it. Helped that it became almost like piece work and I was watching a Lego Expo video and discussing it with the other half as I assembled them.
Great build that is really a display piece but the wheels work and there is no reason why the mini figures wouldn't fit that you may have in your stash if you wanted to play with it. I'm happy shoving this on a display shelf so I can look at it and grin.

<span itemprop="description">After many, many years hiatus from LEGO, lockdown saw me decide to bring London to my lounge since I couldn’t travel there! This was my first LEGO build in decades, obviously my first Crestor build. Pleased to say I haven’t lost my touch! This was a pleasure to build, with very easy to follow instructions. My only gripe - the stickers. They felt cheap. Some of them look cheap. I didn’t include some of them with the final product as they took away from how great the bus looked (eg the dirty seat stickers, the windscreen sticker (sticker #10)). I would much rather pay a little extra to have printed bricks over stickers. In saying that, was still a great build, fantastic final product to sit with my UK photos, and I managed to rekindle my LEGO love from childhood. I look forward to building something more challenging in the future!!</span>

<span itemprop="description">My recent experience of Lego has been helping my granddaughter to build her Lego Friends sets, so this London Bus was something very different for me – a ‘lockdown’ project inspired by a schoolfriend sharing his project!
It was a very enjoyable build and the completed model looks even better ‘in the bricks’ than ‘in the pics’ – in particular the tiles on the sides look very heavy on the box and instruction booklet yet are fine on the model. There are many lovely details, the engine, staircase, ticket box, fire extinguisher, and seats. I made my own destination labels for the route that passed my school.
I made a couple of minor changes:
• I took out the 1x1x3 pillar from the front of the driver’s door and replaced it with a spare 1x1 flat tile – makes the cab look better.
• Also replaced the three transparent bricks below the windscreen with red 1x1, 1x1 with knob, and 1x4 bricks – and used the spare clear round brick to make an offside side lamp to match the one on the nearside (I took the 1x1 with knob from stage 45 and replaced it with a plain 1x1).
I also built it with the shorter window as the last on the lower deck, and in the corresponding position upstairs, with a slight rearrangement of the bricks and plates above and below – it looks better balanced.
As others have said, it would be nice to have at least driver and conductor figures.
The only real disappointment is the front of the upper deck, the corners look a mess and the screen (with that awful sticky label) slopes too much – it really needs special bricks for the top corners to merge the front and side roof curves properly.
I am now investigating the extra parts needed to extend the whole model by 2 studs to eliminate the short window altogether – downstairs the seats over the rear wheels would be for four as on the real thing, upstairs the seats could be moved back 1 stud to eliminate the awkward ’1½’ seats at the front, and the rearmost seat moved forward 1 stud with a proper seat rather than the bench. Anyway it’s got me being creative!</span>

<span itemprop="description">First let me say that Lego is so creative in their builds and attention to detail. We have completed numerous Creator Expert sets and look forward to the new additions each year. We have had our eye on the London bus and decided that it would be a great build during the pandemic lockdown. It did not disappoint in the details and fun as a set. So appreciated the quick and safe delivery as well.
Both my husband and I have been Lego fans since we were children and our kids looked forward (and as adults still do) to a Christmas Lego gift every year.
Every so often non lego building bricks ("compatable" - but not really) would make their way into our lego bin. It was so obvious which ones did not belong because the quality of the Lego bricks were so superior. Needless to say those bricks were quickly removed from the bin.
While my husband and I were working on the bus we both noticed that the quality of the Lego bricks in this set reminded us of those cheap "compatible" ones. This is the first set that we have experienced this and we were so surprised that the bricks were significantly lighter, and the plastic seemed so much cheaper. Even the finished product looks like a plastic toy rather than a classic Lego display piece. I really hope this isn't the new trend - and I am hopeful that it is not because we have completed sets that came out after the bus and had no issue with them. Lego and quality have always been synonymous. Hoping this will always be the case.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Loved this set. I bought this to treat myself for birthday, but I think it came but late.
Enjoyed to build the set, however, the sticker parts are bit annoying, I can’t never get the sticker in place, so I have to peak it off again and again.
Really hoping that those are already printed on or stock on the Lego.
But overall it’s great set of Lego.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Really enjoyable build, which took approx 2 and a half days, once started couldn't stop.
Attention to detail is amazing, right down to steering wheel, gear stick in the drivers cab. Ticket bin, and ticket in the back of the bus.
I'd highly recommend this product to anybody and have done.</span>

<span itemprop="description">this set is fantastic and i have no idea why i held off on bying it so long. the build has so much intricacy, it's amazing. i myself am using more as a display model, however once it's built it could be a fairly good play set. the roof of the top half and the top half itself comes off so a kid could put a whole host of figures in both levels. a minifigure can easily fit in the driver seat and there's enough room for smaller hands on the inside. the only drawback i feel is that the part of the roof the staircase leads up to doesn't come off, so it's very hard to get even a smaller hand in there.
overall fantastic and would be a great build to do with someone.</span>
