It would work nicely if you pushed him backwards but the moment you pushed him forward it wouldn't move.

<span itemprop="description">The plastic around the screw broke on the tray; on both of my high chairs. This company apparently doesn’t do replacement parts or give the option to buy replacement parts. They want you to buy a brand new chair. So I have two chairs that my 12 month old can’t use.</span>

One of the straps is also broken. We went to the store to see if you could buy replacements for both (which should be easy to do) but they don’t sell them. We are considering buying a new chair already after thinking this one would last our family for years.</span>

Thank you for the question! The seat restraint is adjustable using the straps to tighten and loosen. Always use restraints, and adjust to fit snugly.
