Luvabella is a truly innovative baby doll! I was wary because baby dolls tend to not occupy my daughter (she's 5 years old) for very long but this was not the case with Luvabella! My daughter is still taking care of this sweet doll that she has dubbed &quot;her baby sister&quot;. Luvabella is learning words and playing peek-a-boo with my daughter and it is so sweet. I also like the fact that we can turn her off after my daughter puts her to sleep (with a lullaby that she coos to as she gently drifts to sleep) to preserve battery life. I highly recommend Luvabella if you are looking for a more interactive doll that will really engage your child. I received Luvabella free for my honest review and she did not disappoint! I have 3 boys (8, 3, and 23 months) and found out I was pregnant with a girl (now 4 months)last year. When I was given the opportunity to receive the Luvabella Blonde 2018 doll free in exchange for my review, I was a little skeptical to say the least, about how the boys would react. Since the doll was described as being as close to lifelike as I think you could find anywhere, I pondered the idea of maybe trying to use the doll to try and get the boys accustomed to having a little baby sister. To my surprise, after only a couple weeks, I had 3 little helpers &quot;ready&quot; for our newest addition. If the doll cried one would grab the pacifier and one would grab the bottle. My oldest learned how to gently hold the doll like a new baby and slowly rock it. They all learned to be gentle as to not upset the doll. The dolls actions and sounds were extremely realistic, so realistic in fact that I really wasn't sure if we didn't just gain another baby girl! When our new little bundle of joy was born, each of my little men almost had an instinct as to how they may be able to help (as most kids want to do) with anything they could. They played peekaboo, gently tickled her, and even would find our daughter's favorite pacifier, blanket and even brought me an empty, but clean, bottle to make for her. I would recommend this doll, as odd as it sounds, to any expecting parents with children already. It definitely made life easier without the older ones getting jealous or upset because a new baby was taking &quot;me&quot; time away. My daughter loves dolls, so this Luvabella doll is amazing for her. She is on the younger side for the doll at 4 years old, but has really enjoyed playing with it. I wish it had &quot;real&quot; hair instead of just painted on hair. She enjoys brushing other dolls hair and can't with this one. I also think it's a bit too heavy for young kids. It takes 4 C batteries and that coupled with the electronics in the doll make it pretty hefty. I think if your child likes dolls they will LOVE the Luvabella. It is super Interactive and really different from the other dolls.
